The American Dream

THE AMERICAN DREAM

The American dream has one basis or foundation towards the aspects of what every human believes. Regardless of nationality or background, one's ideology and dreams can be fully realized through the American dream. ''The American dream is the ability to follow your ideas, beliefs and goals and succeed regardless of background and history.'' The idea and aspect of gender dominance, Male power, aspects through the American army/soldiers. For example, the film Saving Private Ryan. Explicitly showing footage of the bravery emphasized by the American during WWII. The Dream of bravery and commitment towards family, the strength and pride of all the citizens. The quest of coming back for your country as a hero, the agreement of being sent $10,000 dollars to your family for going to war and facing instant death for your country.

Independence, residence and hard work, the mindset to excel and strive towards your goals through hard work and commitment.  Your own way of living and personal satisfaction. The selfish life style, the will to keep going when you have nothing, to start from scratch. The social mobility for family and the children.  James Truslow Adams has said ''Life should be better and richer and fuller for everyone, with opportunity for each according to ability or achievement''; this is regardless of social life or ethnic make-up.

Personal dreams, personal over views of how and what to accomplish. Each person's own American dream. Being personally creative, working for employment for a job that reinforces specific interest which leads to life satisfactions such as marriage and raising a family. Living in a big open space and free land, a land free of criticism and racial aggression and abuse. The actual image of the American dream and American representation. The eagle souring through the sky representing individual motivation and freedom to strive only through their own success and courage as a human being. The anthem which depicts the superiority and which emphasizes 'Home of the Brave and the land of the free'.

Negatives towards the dream which includes the de-satisfaction of not being able to mentally or physically achieve it. Hence the argumentative mean of 'dream', the depiction of something never to be accomplished and only to be dream and just a personal illusion. A vision created in one's head as just something which one envy's and regrets for not achieving when having the chance. Where does one's personal dream come from? Can dreams change? The idea of dreams constructed through America is the perfection of one's image and working hard towards achieving it. Dreams which interlock and were/are slowly created and realized through emotional feelings and attachments. Aspirations and emotional imagery, life experiences which bring out different feelings and sides of a human being. People's dreams and experiences change through age and realization. However, that does not mean that it can't be achieved. The American dream tells you you are free and have the ability to do anything you want if you work hard for it and mentally and spiritually have un-doubtful belief in one's self.

American dreams only outline the positives of one's possible accomplishment. People were becoming font of these personal dreams of American which gave them an influx of immigrant from all over the world. The Swedish are a strong example, poster to be set up around the capital and other dense areas to strike fear in their hearts of, this sudden international negative out burst on national countries such as European nations also included crisis's to happen within their country. You can't have a country with out people and during the 90's it became a solid issue. Crisis's which had physical effect, immigrant coming to find work in American, hard labor work. Primary sectors of jobs (Mechanics, garages, garbage men) could cause illness and disease, maybe even death. Personal family issues between immigrants plans on leaving their home country. Mental health issues which illustrate the selfish environment that their in and much more.
